Our story
Born in Austin.
Built for ritual.
Brewline started in 2019 when founder Marcus Webb drove 12 hours to visit a Yirgacheffe farm in Ethiopia and came back with 40 kg of green coffee and a conviction: close the gap between the farmer and the cup.
The roastery
East 6th Street, Austin TX
Our roastery sits in a converted auto-repair shop on East 6th. Six days a week, two Loring Smart Roasters run the same small-batch profiles that Marcus dialed in during his first season in business. Nothing is automated that doesn’t need to be.
Beans are sourced on direct-trade terms — meaning farmers receive a premium above the C-price, and we get full lot transparency. Every bag lists the farm, region, and harvest year.
What we stand for
Radical transparency
Farm name, altitude, variety, harvest date — it all ships with your order. We believe you should know exactly what you're drinking.
Farmer-first pricing
Direct-trade contracts lock in premiums 40–60 % above commodity rates. When farmers thrive, the coffee gets better. Simple.
No waste roasting
Chaff from every roast goes to a local composting co-op. Packaging is kraft paper with a water-based valve coating — recyclable kerbside.
